As a Community Care Business Development Specialist you will assist with development of creative solutions that add value to the customer; knows marketing area and corporate key measures.

* Knowledge of the home health industry along with industry issues, trends and directions.

* Knowledge of in-home services and how in-home services and financial, political and social concepts relate to the job and healthcare industry.

* Develop good working relationship with referral sources.

* Creates seamless customer calls through constant communication with team partners.

* Participate in national, state and local organization to keep abreast of changes in the in-home services industry. Ensures that American HomeCare is represented professionally in local community organizations.

* Maintains confidentiality.

* Performs administrative functions only.

Required Skills

* Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required

* Have at least one year experience in home care or health related field.

* Computer skills. Excellent communication skills.

* Accurate documentation and organizational skills.

* Knowledge of home care industry, Division of Health and Senior Services programs, and state specific legislative system is preferred for this position.

* Ability to establish a good working relationship with the Division and the Community.

* Knowledge of all programs standards.
