About the position:

Position Title: Food Truck Team Member

Pay: $11 - $13 per hour based on experience

Sharpen your customer service skills, learn to make great food and be ready to grow with us. Whether you have experience as a cashier, server, cook, prep cook, dishwasher, or no experience at all, this could be the opportunity to further develop or gain new skills.

Team members take pride in preparing and serving delicious food. They know in order to do this right, they need a clean and organized work area. By consistently following the proper recipes and procedures, while adhering to high standards regarding customer service, they help to ensure the customer experience is always the best it can be.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be at the kitchen to load truck, participate in event service and return to kitchen to unload and clean the truck in preparation for the next shift.
• Prep of food items for food service prior to loading truck.
• Prepare and cook our menu to order on the truck.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Educate customers about our menu items.
• Work various shifts including nights and weekends.
• Be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions.
• Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Knowledge, Skills and Experience desired:

• Able to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all employees and work as part of a team by helping others as needed or requested.
• A sense of urgency when faced with changing customer volume levels.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Able to follow instructions for recipes, sanitation guidelines and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Individual must be a self-starter and able to self-direct.
• Able and willing to be cross trained on all other departments of the truck (cashier, driver, prep, etc)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, ability to pass a background check, 18+ years old and have reliable transportation.
