Baker - Cake Decorator

Full time ( minimum 35+ hours per week ) bakery chef needed for busy bakery in Clifton Park , NY. Ideal applicants would have a minimum of 1 years baking experience in a bakery facility or equivalent facility or hold a 2 year pastry degree with an emphasis in cake and pastry baking and mixing. Cake decorating skills not required but would be a bonus. Applicants with demonstrated baking skills have ability for full time employment, some benefits including Heath Care and vacation time. All viable applicants will be screened with a hands on baking interview which will last a minimum of 2-3 hours.

Minimum starting compensation $12.00 per hour based on years experience and ability, with a raise to $13+ in 30 days or sooner for proficiently skilled applicants.

Position requires 35+ hours per week with additional hours required during major holiday seasons. Applicant will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Applicant must be available to work some Sundays as needed. Must be able to work 10am-close shift. Forward your complete resume with work history, references and pictures of sample work .
