Jewelry Sales Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Lady Jeweler in downtown Ocala, FL is a modern upscale independent jewelry boutique.  We specialize in bridal jewelry and custom designs as well as appraisal and repair services. Experience in fine jewelry sales, precious metals, and diamonds is preferred.  Our team takes great pride in delivering unique customer experiences and providing paramount service.

Applicants should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Provide excellent customer service to every customer.
• Basic house keeping such as vacuuming the floors, cleaning showcases, and taking out the garbage.
• Educate and advise customers on jewelry designs.
• Inspect, clean, and estimate jewelry repairs.
• Process sales and services through our point of sale software.
• Present a strong selling presentation with customers by providing excellent product knowledge and recommendations.  
• Work as a team to close sales.
• Follow all operating procedures safely based on your training.
• Actively learn and participate in all daily operations such as merchandising showcases, inventory management, and repair processes.

Ideal candidates possess:

• Sales experience in fine jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones.
• Basic computer skills in operation and willingness to learn new software such as a point of sale and inventory system.
• Exceptional communication ability.

Seeking to fill a part time position with potential for full time.  Lady Jeweler is a smoke and drug free work place.  Applicants must pass a background check.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm. Closed on the weekends for most of the year.  Open Saturdays from Thanksgiving to Christmas.  Pay is $10-14 per hour based on experience with potential month end bonuses.
