Job Description
ROUTE/DELIVERY DRIVER
Local beer and wine distributor is looking for an exceptional route delivery driver. We are a locally owned company with 15+ years in the Valley.
BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load, plan and carry out daily route to ensure all deliveries are made within time restraints
Make timely deliveries placing items to customer specifications
Ensure correct items are loaded and offloaded
Develop and maintain working relationship with customers
Work effectively with all levels of employee and management
Self-motivated with high degree of integrity able to perform duties with minimal supervision
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to speak, read and write in English
Basic simple math skills to collect, correct and complete paperwork
Outstanding communication skills
Clean driving record
Valid Driver’s License
Current DOT Health Card (CDL not required)
Initiative, dependability, maturity and the ability to exercise sound judgment
Able to lift 50+ lbs.
Basic knowledge of the Phoenix, and Tucson area helpful
