• Contact prospective customers in person, by phone, email, and text continuously throughout the day. Maintain complete and accurate records for each interaction with prospects and customers.
• Develop rapport and trust with prospective customers.
• Ask great questions and listen to customer needs, issues and concerns.
• Confirm needs and present a tailored solution to the prospect.
• Confidently ask for the order.
• Overcome objections and complete the transaction to the delight of the new customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years consultative sales experience preferred
• 1+ years of cold calling, prospecting experience preferred

Knowledge:

• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Manufacturing or outdoor storage knowledge a plus but not required

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Effective communications skills, including verbal, written and listening
• Excellent phone skills
• Ability to manage time effectively by staying organized and managing multiple priorities
• Strong self-motivation and drive to excel and work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working with the general public and have a professional appearance

Retail Sales Consultant reports directly to the Vice President of Retail Sales.

Compensation/Benefits:

Paid training includes a base salary plus commissions. After 90 days of training, you can choose to remain on a base salary plus commissions or move to straight commissions. This is an uncapped earning opportunity on commissions! Excellent monthly bonus incentive and contests throughout the year. Paid time off (PTO) includes vacation and sick time. Major medical insurance. Paid dental, vision, short and long term disability, and life insurance. 401(K) with company matching. Supplemental insurance for critical illness and accidents.

Earn between $48,000 - $98,000 a year
