Job Description
Primarily responsible for the cash register and correctly processing payments. Attends to the appearance of the kitchen in all public areas.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and promptly cash them out at the register
- Ensures cleanliness in all public areas including coffee areas, counters and displays
- Maintains supply of utensils and napkins
- Cleans microwaves
- Wipe counters as necessary throughout the day
- Assist with conference room and coffee room set up as needed
- Fill vending machines and maintain stock of soda closet and par levels
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Other tasks as requested and needed
Qualifications:
- Must ensure that quality and presentation standards are maintained
- Must be able to assist with catering events outside of scheduled hours as needed
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and energetic personality with a strong work ethic
- Exceptional client service
- Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision
- Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
- Military experience a plus
