Job Description
We are seeking a Retail Store Manager to join the Granite State Glass team! You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and serving the auto, home and business glass needs of our St. Johnsbury, VT location.
Responsibilities:
- Ethical and detail oriented leader, responding to client needs by effectively managing staff
- Direct, coordinate and schedule labor daily to insure efficiency and quality
- Communicate in a professional manner with clients, staff, vendors and senior management
- Learn and apply new skills in a fast paced business within a team dynamic
- Comply with and work safely within the Granite State Glass / OSHA safety program
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- Glass industry experience / background
- Ability to meet with customers, estimate jobs and discuss proposals
- Capacity to engage GSG clients in a professional manner
- Strong leadership qualities
- Motivation and confidence to partner with supervisors and peers to learn and develop skills and knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills to manage the many elements necessary for successful customer service and location success
