The Assistant Head Porter is responsible for cleanliness of: Dish Room, Pot Sinks, Machines, Main and Outlet Kitchens, Garbage Disposal Areas, Banquet Kitchen, Kitchen Equipment, China, Flat Wear and Glassware, Scheduling and Monitoring employees, and Employee Kitchen Bathrooms. This individual is additionally responsible for NPS, Brand Standard and Internal Audits. The Assistant Head Porter also is responsible for ordering of supplies, scheduling, supervision & training of staff, additionally monitoring employee clock in and clock out, monthly inventories and assisting in banquet function set up, service, execution and breakdown.  This position also assists with oversight of Employee Dining Room. 

 

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Dish Washing Experience
  • Experience managing a team of at least 30
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic knowledge of  dish machines
  • Basic sanitation skills
  • Basic food prep skills
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Valid Driver’s license

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Multi Outlet resort experience
  • Serv Safe Certification
