Pricing Manager
Summary
Pricing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies for Inline Plastics’ products or services and will play a vital role on the commercial team. Working closely with Product Managers, Senior Advisor and several other departments, including Finance, Sales, Production and RD&E, Pricing Manager will help identify target markets and review customer trends to help determine the correct pricing for items and services. This position requires strong strategic planning and execution skills. The incumbent should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, financial acumen and experience in developing pricing strategies, setting product pricing and tracking market pricing trends.
Essential Function/Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain Pricing Policy with Marketing, Sales and Finance leaders and ensure it is aligned with market
· Demonstrate proficiency in navigating all internal resources to validate key components of a customer’s demographics and product mix to assure prompt and accurate price quotes are delivered to Sales.
· Team with Regional and National Sales teams to provide clear, concise and accurate responses to pricing process and price policy questions.
· Simplify currently complex pricing management process.
· Effectively coordinate pricing exception requests Marketing, Sales and Finance discussion and approval.
· Continuously monitor, audit and analyze price quote activity to assure systematic risks are identified and corrected, sales training issues are identified and addressed, and pricing formulas and tables are properly maintained for approved pricing changes.
· Recognize and anticipate missing data from price quote exception requests and obtain required information to assure proper review of relevant facts pertaining to the proposed opportunity.
· Design Pricing Activity reports and perform routine maintenance of said reports to assure on going management visibility of pricing activities and the ability to evaluate integrity of the pricing and discounting processes
· Train and proactively communicate pricing policies and proper price quote and price quote exception procedures to the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams.
· Read, interpret and discuss pricing requests with Territory Sales Managers to assure proper understanding of the opportunity and related pricing implications.
· Assure proper documentation of approved price quotes that enable accurate contracting at the point of final sale.
· Align with Finance/Accounting and Customer service.
· Manage rebates and other promotional activities with proper departments.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience related to advanced financial analysis. Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in pricing and analysis with a track record of success performing spreadsheet analyses, maintaining financial reports in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to collaboratively enforce policies and apply financial principles to a business transaction. Skills to gather relevant data; input and manipulate the data to allow for complete analysis and identification of potential issues. Demonstrate sound investigative skills as well as a rigorous work organization methodology. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access. Possesses good sense of finance or accounting principles and ability to consider alternative courses of action to assure s prompt response to outstanding price quotes consistent with Company policy. Occasional travel (15%) is required.
