E-Commerce General Manager

Our company is an online retailer of Shoes, Clothing, Toys, and Accessories. We are looking for a qualified individual to lead our E-commerce marketplace division. We are major players on the following marketplaces: Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, and Jet. We are looking to expand to over 15 marketplaces and push our own E-commerce website to the next level. We are looking for someone who has vast the technical knowledge and leadership experience to grow with our dynamic company.

Position Summary:

• Lead our marketplace listing team with the detailed maintenance and improvement of listings on the various marketplaces (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase product ranking and buyer experience.
• Hold best practice meetings and introduce new processes to our marketplace team.
• Drive traffic and execute marketing campaigns (Sponsorship ads, lightning deals, EBC, etc) to increase revenue
• Lead and complete new marketplace launches using our ERP system and various API connections available.
• Pull and scrub reports from marketplaces, translate findings into insights and actionable growth tactics
• Monitor and analyze KPIs (visits, conversation rate, ROI, cost analysis, return rate, etc.)
• Inventory planning: compare past and current sales trends to determine future inventory demand.
• Take command of aging inventory by finding the reasons for slowing demand and passing the solution to listing team for corrections
• Assist in SEO strategies and initiatives by ensuring sites are properly optimized for search engine success.
• Promotion tracking and coordination: report as necessary account specific promotional plans in a timely and effective manner.
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Proactively research online marketplace to ensure accuracy and delivery of our content, while continuously looking at ways to improve our brand position.
• Manage e-commerce website and oversee internet assortment, sales, staffing, and goals
• Plan and execute all website promotions, SEO, SEM, display, retargeting, e-mail, and social media advertising campaigns
• Identify new digital trends and applications that have the ability to increase brand awareness and sales

Position Requirement’s:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in the Amazon marketplace and website management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including .csv & .txt files, filtering, conditional formatting, macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP & SUMIF functions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and follow instructions.
• Have initiative, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and a high level of ownership.
• Knowledge of Internet best practices and the impact they have on SEO
• Experience with PPC - Management of Pay per click programs.
• An in depth understanding of search engines, search engine optimization and factors that influence high rankings in Google
• Experience with web analytics tools (Urchin, Webtrends, and Ominiture).
• + Experience with Nestuite or similar ERP a Plus
• + Experience and knowledge of Suitescript, HTML, PHP, Java Script, and Web Services.
