Warehouse Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

*Assures customer service first and foremost.

*Responsible for the loading and unloading of merchandise into and out of the warehouse.

*Assures the efficient processes/systems for work orders and bill of ladings and the accurate entry of information to the company’s warehouse management program.

*Guarantees accurate and up-to-date inventory control and recommends improvements for             maximum utilization of warehouse space according to management and customer directives or any other changes/improvements beneficial to the company and/or customer.

*Encourages and maintains a safe, accident-free, healthy environment in the warehouse.

*Ensures established proper safety practices in warehouse and loading dock and responsible for     enforcing and abiding by the company “Personnel Policies Manual” and “Safety Policy and        Procedures”.

*Ensures safe forklift operation.

*Responsible for immediately taking the necessary steps for correcting and/or informing his/her immediate supervisor of any discrepancies regarding merchandise.

*Performs duties in an expeditious manner and prepares necessary reports.

*Assures the learning and documentation of processes/systems.

*Responsible for following specific guidelines set by the customer.

*Any other responsibilities based on the needs of customer.

JOB EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

*Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing.

*Knowledge and/or literate in use of computer (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus, etc.) and must be able to type at least 30 words per minute.

*Must be licensed and/or certified to operate a forklift.

*Must possess organizational skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines, able to work              independently under pressure/Ability to work with minimal supervision, able to carry out verbal and written instructions, ability to compile reports, be self-motivated, and able to consistently exercise discretion and good judgment.

*Minimum of three years supervisory experience preferred and, in addition, five years warehouse    experience.

*Must be or become Hazardous Materials certified

*Must be able to read computer screen and possess finger dexterity to use computer keyboard.

*Ability to keep and maintain the warehouse and exterior property clean for a healthy, safe environment.

*Ability to push a minimum of 25 pounds, and lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
