Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff. Develops, counsels, motivates and resolves associate relations issues and conducts performance appraisals and monitors performance of maintenance associates.
• Maintains efficiency and safety of all equipment. Monitors the daily operation and directs action as required.
• Coordinates daily maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and does preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates with the managers and supervisors to establish priorities and schedules the workload to satisfy production needs.
• Coordinates with local contractors and vendors for equipment and services as required.
• Orders parts and equipment and obtains services for repairs and maintenance of the facility’s equipment.
• Completes reports and records and performs other administrative duties as required.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 4-6 years in the maintenance field with experience in supervising mechanics.
• High School diploma pus 3-5 years of conveyor systems and power equipment experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience. 2 years of formal education desired in related field.
• Must have general knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, water systems, building repairs and housekeeping procedures.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, trade standards and general practices within the maintenance field.
• Strong knowledge of electricity, mechanical, construction, plumbing and HVAC.
• Strong Communication, organizational, and negotiating skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
