Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Tractor-Trailer Driver in Bowling Green, KY for 1st Shift – 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday (not OTR). Pay Rate: $19.00 or depending on experience. Interested candidates should have a minimum of one year driving a Tractor-Trailer Truck with a Class A – CDL.   The position is Direct Hire.                                                                                       

Responsibilities of the Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• Safely operator a Tractor-Trailer Truck
• Fasten chain or binders to secure load on/in trailer during transit
• Load and unload cargo or assist in loading and unloading of any truck
• Wrap load using pads, chocks, tarps, and containers and securer load to trailer using straps or chains
• Property position weight of load on all types of trailers
• Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position
• Properly track and document activity log 

Requirements of the Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• One year experience driving a Tractor-Trailer Truck
• Commercial Driver’s License – Class A
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Ability to handle physical work load
• Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electric form 

Physical Requirements of the Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• Capability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 10 hours 

Compensation of the Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• $17.00-$18.00 per hour
