DIRECT HIRE: CNC Gear Grinder/Gear Shaping Opportunity!!!

DIRECT HIRE: Gear Shaping position

Shift: 2:00pm-12:30am Monday-Thurs

Pay: $16-$19/hr plus shift differential

Location: Twinsburg, OH

Job Description:
* Candidate will be responsible for gear cutting and gear shaping
* Candidate will set up and operate multiple CNC which are used to shape gears and grind gears
* Candidate will be reading blueprints
* Will be responsible for computing data, like gear dimensions machine settings, applying knowledge of shop mathematic
* Will use measuring equipment to measure parts including mics and calipers
* Will be operating - CNC Gear Hobbing Machine, Pfauter CNC Gear Grinder, Fellows, Gleason and Barber Coleman machines
* Will be setting up machines based on production schedule
* Will be wearing multiple hats in this job and will be helping out in other areas as needed
* Will be grinding various steels and alloys
* This job requires a lot of precision and attention to detail
* Will be operating CNC machine

Qualifications:

1. Must have at least 2 years OD/ID grinding experience
2. Must be willing to learn gear shaping/hobbing
3. Must be able to read blueprints
4. Must have experience using measuring equipment including mics, calipers and gauges
5. Must be mechanically inclined (experience using hand and power tools in industrial manufacturing)
6. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
7. Must have experience with tolerances 0.001 or less
8. Must be open to working at least 10 hrs of OT per week
9. 3 Must be willing to work in a job shop environment

PLUS:
1. Experience in Aerospace
2. Experience with hobbing machines including Fellows, Gleason, Barber Coleman, B&K or Pfauter
3. Job Shop experience
