Job Description:

*Compliance Monitoring - Identify user behavior and technical issues which leads to loss in vendor funding and running complex recovery projects. This will involve understanding of the business as well as partnering with retail teams, tech team, fin-ops, and upstream data source teams etc.
*Financial Analysis and dive deep - Understanding process defects and their financial impact, identifying their root causes, engaging with the tech team to drive fixes and enhancements. Basic querying in SQL for analyzing the underlying data. Providing data and analysis to support business reviews.
*Controllership - Understanding financial controls governing the vendor funding process and defining guard rails and early warning systems. Understanding and improving the month end reconciliation process between booking and billing. Supporting external auditors in data requirement related to the manual controls.
*Reporting - Build a reporting forum on claims recovery, vendor disputes, metrics reporting on coverage rate and false positives and best practice sharing from 3rd party auditors data.
*Business Partnership - Supporting the free cash flow initiatives by engaging with the retail and tech team.

Required Skills:

*Basic Accounting concepts
*Med-Advanced Finance concepts
*Large data set analysis
*Basic SQL
*Advanced Excel. Microsoft Office apps.
*Data Trend Analysis
*Strong written and verbal communication

Preferred Skills:

*Project/Program Management experience - either leading or engaged on finance projects
*Familiarity with SQL (for data mining and business intelligence)
*Solid business judgment and controller-ship focus
*High technical acumen - understanding of financial systems and workflows
