The Assistant Golf Pro assists with the management of daily golf operations, including tracking and managing play, greeting and assisting guests, scheduling and organizing tournaments, teaching lessons to guests, managing inventory and overseeing the cart fleet maintenance. Duties may also include assisting guests with purchases in our shop, ensuring that guests feel welcomed while in the clubhouse, processing point of sale transactions to include tee-time reservations and management. Additional duties include assisting the head golf pro with budgeting and purchasing. This position is critical to the delivery of world class service and it is the responsibility of staff members to be friendly, courteous and helpful under all circumstances. Our season is May- October. There will be other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older - required
• Able to communicate effectively in English - required
• PGA Membership Level 1 - required
• Previous guest service experience and excellent guest service skills - required
• Golf experience- Rules of Golf and marking courses - required
• Willingness to learn and to teach lessons - required
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions - required
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and long hours - required
• Able to work the entire season - required
• Resume - required
• Experience with point of sale system - preferred
• Experience with tee time reservations and management - preferred
• Experience with inventory and Cart Fleet management - preferred
• Able to come for an in-person interview - preferred
• A four year college degree - preferred
