Job Summary:

Yellow Dot is seeking an HVAC Sales professional with a strong leadership and business management skill set to build, train, and grow our Residential and Multi-Family Sales Teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan that maximizes revenue potential and profitability, while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction. This position will directly support the Retail Operations Manager in the daily operations of the retail business; including but not limited to, Service, Add-On Replacements, Sales, Multi-Family, Electrical, Office & CSR's, Customer Service, Marketing/Advertising, Internet Reviews and all Staffing/Hiring efforts.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Retail Operations Manager in the daily management of the retail business.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals for AOR, Multi-Family & Electrical
  • Establish acceptable selling ranges and margins for each line of equipment that meet profitability objectives.
  • Provide sales tools to the Comfort Advisors to ensure their success.
  • Hire, Train, Motivate, and Counsel each Comfort Advisor to meet or exceed goals.
  • Review all sales folders for Content, Accuracy, Sales objectives and Load calculations.
  • Ensure all Rebates are filled in a timely manner, billing is done daily, and inspections are being completed.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Supervisor and AOR Admin for daily schedules, equipment delivery and field staffing.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings to discuss sales goals, strategies, competitive differentiation and selling skills.
  • Meeting with the Retail Operations Leadership team weekly to present sales and profitability reports.
  • Take the lead to resolve all customer complaints from the Internet and the BBB..
  • Read and Respond to all online reviews and address any customers concerns immediately.
  • Proactively identify problems in all areas of responsibility, analyze the problems, and provide solutions.
  • Review daily schedule and time reports for Service and AOR.
  • Review and respond to daily e-mails and voicemails from customers, managers and co-workers.
  • Help determine market and advertising strategies to maximize the growth of the Retail Business
  • P&L review with the Retail Operations Manager.
  • Help grow and expand the residential and commercial PM Contract base.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Check and compare daily revenue and labor costs against department budget focusing on Revenue Plan, Gross Profit, and Expense Control. Also, ensure KPI goals are being met for all Retail Departments.
  • Follow all company guidelines and procedures, including but not limited to the Employee Guidebook.
  • Keep all Managers, Supervisors and Comfort Advisors informed, focused and motivated daily.
  • Continual Revenue Growth and Market expansion of the Retail business is essential.
  • Retail Office is open Monday -Saturday 7A-7P. Accountable to ensure retail hours are covered.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Residential Retail Sales and/or Service experience.
  • 3 + Years Retail Sales Management or Lead experience preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Strong Computer skills are required.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency about them.
  • Candidate must be able to work under tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and driven to succeed.
