General Production Worker - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is hiring for a long term position with a growing company on the east side of Des Moines. This company focuses on ink manufacturing-they have international clients with household names. They're looking for someone to go on permanently and be come a career-oriented asset internally.

Job duties:

Candidates will be working in different areas of this warehouse, but will assist with general canning or production duties.

Either cleaning or filling of the Vats (containers) that will hold the ink

Some are very large, so will use a pneumatic hoist to lift up the vats to makes sure they are cleaned/filled properly

Weighing of the vats once filled to make sure that they are filled to the specific weight to be sold to clients

Will be trained on Hazardous materials, as after the vats are cleaned, some of the waste may be hazardous.

Will be trained on forklift after brought on permanently.

Job requirements:

Looking for at least 6+ months of production, manufacturinng, warehouse, machine operator or fast food experience.

Normal shift will be Mon-Fri 7am-3pm, $12/hr. Must be willing to submit to a drug/background screen.
