Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers (Companion and Personal Care Attendants) to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community working NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. At Home Instead Senior Care, our employees are our greatest asset and we work with them to find a schedule that works best for them! We're looking for compassionate and caring individuals, to work with our elderly and disabled clients. Most importantly, we're seeking CAREGivers in South Orange County that want to make a difference in their lives. We have an amazing roster of clients and deep relationships with each one.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
- **Able to work nights and weekends
- Competitive pay rates ranging from $13-15/hr
- Earn time and 1/2 for holidays
- You can pick up last minute shifts!
