CAREGiver Overnights - Part-time

We have a special need for CAREGivers who want to work overnight shifts where the CAREGiver stays awake. Shifts typically are 12 hours long, starting at 8pm and ending at 8am.

Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Primary responsibilities of overnight shifts can include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Helping clients get ready for and into bed
• Alzheimer's Care
• Assist clients with ADLs (activities of daily living) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Successful applicants must:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
