Quality Control Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join their team!

Location: near Bay Shore, NY

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Performs the Calibration of laboratory instruments
• Draft and review laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs); General Procedure (GP), Calibration Procedures etc.
• Work with advanced analytical equipment and apply knowledge of broad variety of analytical techniques
• Troubleshoot and actively participate in the root cause determination and CAPA determination.
• Assist Scientists in developing/implementing quality systems and activities.
• Actively participate in and lead investigation of out-of-specification laboratory results, when required.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree required
• Must have experience working with HPTLC required. HPLC, UPLC, ICP-MS and IR experience preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience within the Nutra or Pharma industry
• Must be familiar w/ out of specification & out of alert limit investigations
• Must be able to execute compendial procedures involving complexity.
• Must be familiar w/ CGMP & OSHA regulations
• Working knowledge of US Regulatory submission
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic math skills
