Providence is calling a Food Services Worker (0.5 FTE - 20 hours per week, Variable Shift) to Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all -- especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

* Tray Line

* Clean vegetables, fruits, salads per dietary requirements and operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, wash, peel, and cut cold foods for serving and storing.

* Work along with cook during meals and tray line service to prepare trays, checking for errors and following diet cards.

* Dining Assistant

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room by setting and clearing tables, sanitizing tables, chairs, and tables.

* Serve residents in the dining room during meals, following diet list while providing excellent customer service to residents and guests, maintaining dignity and freedom of choice.

* Utility Worker

* Wash dishes using dish machine, then putting away dishes in proper areas once washed and dry.

* Sweep and mops floors, remove trash and garbage to designated areas, and clean equipment using Ecolab chemicals to insure sanitary standards.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Current Washington State Food Handler's card.

* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

* Availability to work flexible hours and different shift times as needed.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.

* At least three (3) months to one (1) year of prior restaurant and/or institutional food service experience.

* Customer service experience.

Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington compassionately serves people of all ages and faiths. Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home in "neighborhoods" and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.
