Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co. This role is for a Senior Product Manager to drive forward our roadmap for ACCESS FX services in Merchant Services. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Alternative Methods of Payment, Currency and Value Added Services. The successful applicant, will be expected to create and maintain the product roadmap, define requirements for enhancements, partner with other business areas and vendors and work closely with the commercialization team to bring solutions to market. A Product Manager in CMS owns their products end to end, including providing support and subject matter expertize to clients, client facing teams and internal stakeholders, ongoing enhancements/back log and tracking to critical product KPIs and other actions necessary to make Merchant Services the leading and preferred payment provider to our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Interacting with clients, relationship managers and other stakeholders as the product subject matter expert

* Maintain the product roadmap, producing business cases and other artifacts and driving support for new product initiatives

* Oversee product development of new features or enhancements, including defining solutions and requirements and working with the project and program managers (where applicable)

* Manage a product P&L including planning, forecasting, variance analysis, pricing strategy and creating action plans to achieve product objectives

* Proactively manage product risks and drive programs to reduce risks in partnership with the Product Control team

* Deliver and maintain accurate, up to date marketing collateral for the product

* Produce and deliver internal training to explain the value proposition and features of the product

* Provide input to complex deals and non-standard proposals

* Meet with clients to help maintain client satisfaction with these products

* Structure and present reporting and updates to senior management

* Develop relationships with internal service providers (or external partners) who deliver services to clients

* Keep on top of changes in merchant/client needs, industry and competitive trends and the regulatory landscape and impacts on the product

* Identify issues quickly, escalate and bring to closure, with a critical focus on client experience

* Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members

* Completion of other tasks (not listed above) that may be required from time to time

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required/MBA preferred

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management and development

* Expertise in payments - acquiring/acceptance/payment processing and/or digital payments experience preferred

* Ability to work in a matrixed organization and learn quickly

* Computer science / systems development knowledge

* Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and deployment of new payment solutions

* General business strategy acumen

* Talent for communication of complex business topics

* Expertise in collaborating and leading multi-faceted teams

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

* Strong organizational and problem solving skills

* Entrepreneurial spirit with a positive attitude

* Team player and capable of building relationships with key business partners

* Agile experience beneficial
