@Work Group is searching for an experienced SHIPPING/RECEIVING FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join a local sporting goods distribution company. Our client has been in business since 1985 and has approximately 120 local employees. Our client offers great medical benefits and 401K retirement plan. Shift: Days
Rate of Pay: $12.00 entry level**rate is based on experience
Responsibilities
- Read pick tickets to determine style, color, and quantity.
- Pick orders quickly and accurately to customer specifications.
- Verify product in bin location matches item on pick ticket.
- Move empty boxes to appropriate location.
- Place packing slip in box.
- Tape up boxes from the conveyer.
- Assist customers in Customer Pickup (CPU) with their boxes, if required.
- Load outbound freight on the truck line.
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move boxes to storage locations operating a forklift.
- Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
- Safely operate electric pallet jack while moving pallets.
- If operating machinery, inspect and maintain equipment daily and perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
- Meet minimum production and accuracy requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in Shipping and Receiving
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- 1-3 years of Forklift operating experience
- Good memorization skills
- Great computer skills
- Great math skills•
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
