JOB SUMMARY: The Delivery Truck Driver loads all linen carts on the trucks and trailers and delivers the product to customers in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Loads all linen carts on the trucks and trailers in the correct order and makes sure they are properly identified by hospital.
- Delivers the product to customers in a timely manner.
- Performs a daily visual inspection of the carts and truck to ensure proper loading and safety.
- Responsible for loading the correct number of empty carts back onto trucks and trailers after the delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Required to maintain a professional appearance and have the ability to communicate with the customer.
- Properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork.
- Be available to drive nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to speak, write and read the English language
- Outstanding communication skills
- Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts
- Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
- CDL Class A License
