JOB SUMMARY: Caregivers work in the clients home and help them with activities of daily living, such as feeding, grooming, medication assistance, help with personal hygiene and some light housework. Caregivers also help clients make and keep appointments with doctors, provide or arrange transportation and serve as a companion for their clients. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Providing companionship and conversation • Light housekeeping and laundry • Shopping, errands and transportation • Help with personal hygiene including bathing, oral/hair/skin care • Preparing and serving meals • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required) • A passion for caregiving and a strong desire to help others • A commitment to being present and providing quality care • Empathy, patience, kindness and respect • Ability to carry out directions, both verbal and written • Drivers License and reliable transportation • Positive attitude and desire to strengthen and improve your community What makes FirstLight Home Care unique?
