Quality Assurance Technician needed for large scale food manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA! Must be open to working 12 hour shifts (Monday-Friday, Morning shift)

Candidates must have previous food manufacturing experience (no food service)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs line clearance activity in manufacturing and packaging areas,verify the cleanliness of the rooms and equipment.
  • Verify Manufacturing activity and review of Manufacturing Batch records between stages.
  • In process checks & Monitoring of Manufacturing & Packaging activity, Review Packaging Batch record
  • Collect QC samples, retain sample, Stability sample, Maintain and perform visual inspection of all packaging samples.
  • Ensure manufacturing area, log books, utility systems are completed and compliant per GMP and in house procedures.
  • Review of labels, lot number for packaging and assurance that all material/components used in the packaging run are in accordance with the appropriate labels and lot number
  • * Responsible for overall product quality on the production line maintenance of incoming list of components to be released.
  • Assures appropriate disposition and destruction of unused Packaging components, including cartons, labels and Inserts.
  • Perform activities related to receipt, storage, inspection and issuance of labeling components
  • Inspect and sample raw materials & components for testing.
  • Perform AQL and test raw materials and components per specification requirements
  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of Abbotts Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices.
  • Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities.
  • Perform other duties & projects as assigned by Supervisor
