CNC Manual Machinist

MUST HAVES:
Production
Machining
Blue prints
Micrometer

PREFER:
Manual machine experience
Overhead crane

Duties include:
Will set up manual machines according to blue prints.

Set up, maintain and operate manual mills and lathes using decimals and specific measurements.

Set up and edit CNC Machine programs and/or milling machines and lathes

Use hand tools including micrometers, calibers, etc.

Choosing the program in the controls and adjusting it to the specific measurements (breaks down to the 1,000s)

Load sheet metal (may lift 50-75 lbs. and cranes are available for heavier)

Remove finished product from machine and verify using micrometers, calibers, verneers, tape measure, ruler, etc., to verify measurements..

Read and understand standard work instructions to complete a task.

Read and understand blueprints and drawings to manufacture parts to specifications.

Work in a team environment to efficiently meet the expectations of the department.

Regular cleaning on machines, equipment, and work areas.

This role will be cross trained in other areas and must be okay with daily and regular cleaning on machines, equipment, and work area.

American Lathe, Archdale Radial Drill, Awea CNC, Blanchard, Broach, Bullard, Carlton 6' Radial Drill, Clausing Lathe, Center Machine, Do All Saw, Do All Saw CNC, G&L #1, Gear Case Test Stand, Hob Gear Machine, Hydraulic Press, Little Monarch Tool Lathe, Large Monarch Tool Lathe, Large Key Seater, Mazak 250 CNC, Mazak 450-II CNC, Mazak 510C CNC, Mazak 4500M CNC, Morrison Key Seater, Warner & Swassey
