Job Description Responsibilities: - Coordinates with MFG floor and Production Coordinator to reduce Manufacturing WIP - Ends stock production orders for all with costs within predetermined acceptable variance ranges, following up on discrepancies, making corrections when necessary, communicating issues with production supervisor(s) and forwarding results to appropriate parties - Maintains job registration records and communicates with supervisory team when errors or questionable entries are found - Prepares and publishes daily, weekly and monthly reports for weekly MFG Meeting, Management Team meetings, Management Review meeting, et cetera - Presents report results in various formats and group settings across various mediums - Analyzes and determines inventory stocking levels for manufactured products in all warehouses - Analyzes specials costing, ending specials production orders on a daily basis immediately following shipment. - Follows up on any specials production orders with variances, communicates issues with Specials Supervisor and prepares costing reports for A/R on predetermined basis - Reviews specials sales trends, recommending frequently ordered items for conversion to stock items. - Assists in the item creation process - Maintains communication with the Quality team, analyzes the reports produced offering recommendations to improve Manufacturing processes and results - Acts as back-up for the Production Coordinator / Planner - As ISO audit team member, conducts Highlights Requirements: - Bachelor-s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business preferred or a combination of education or equivalent work experience - Must be detail oriented and demonstrate success in a leadership role with analytical problem-solving abilities. Excellent planning and organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with all departments at all levels in the organization and provide instructions and present information clearly - Ability to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment with team building skills and positive attitude - Previous training or experience in production planning, scheduling or quality management - Training or experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with focus on report and pivot table generation - Experience preferred but not required for: Microsoft Access or similar databases, Visio, Microsoft Dynamix AX ERP Why Kelly ® ?
