POSITION:                              DX Machine Operator    WORK LOCATION:               Jacksonville, Florida                                         WORK HOURS:                    6:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Day shift Occasionally the schedule can be Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm Must be able to be able to work Overtime without notice during the week and weekends. RATE:                                    $13.50 Days TRAINING SCHEDULE:       3 Weeks                                                            LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT:  2 years                                                             SUMMARY OF POSITION: The DX Machine Operator position is essentially operating a conversion machine that turns 6 pack cartons into 1 pack cartons.  Diagnostic machine that converts the case packs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   DX equipment operation and process documentation Equipment fault troubleshooting and recovery Process product conversions in accordance with production planning Coordinate conversion materials and supplies to include product staging Communicate equipment performance with Technical and Management staff Communicate productivity status with Inventory and Management staff MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Education (or equivalent) 2 or more years of machine operating experience 1 years manufacturing operations experience. 1 to 3 years’ experience with operating manual material handling equipment while maintaining an excellent safety record. Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills required. Satisfactory performance rating required. Knowledgeable with area specific computer support systems e.g. DCS. Excellent Teamwork and Customer Service skills. Preferred demonstrated area specific experience. Preferred computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Flexibility with regard to work schedule. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Stooping, Crouching, Walking, Pulling, Light Lifting (< 30 lbs.), Grasping, Hearing, Visual Acuity, Kneeling, Reaching, Pushing, Talking, Standing, Fingering, Crawling, Repetitive Motions, Inside Environmental Conditions. Climbing, Light work, Machine operators.
