PRODUCTION/GENERAL LABORS NEEDED

A long-standing local plywood mill serving the community for over 100 years, is seeking to fill several production/general labor positions. This is a large production warehouse where you would be exposed to drastic temperature change as items are being moved inside and outside of the warehouse by forklift, would need to be comfortable working with large industrial wood processing machines, would need to be comfortable with constant loud noises and use of earplugs and would need to be comfortable with physically handling and sorting wood products.

Job Duties/Description:

• Stand on feet entire shift 10-12 hours
• Comfortable handling wood
• Comfortable bending twisting and lifting for entire shift 10-12 hours
• Grading wood quality
• Working with industrial wood dryers
• Working with industrial saws

Job Must Haves:

Must be able to stand, bend, and twist entire shift. Lift up to 40 lbs. Being comfortable working in mill environment: loud, dirty, will be working about equipment that is dusty and loud.

Shift: 11:00PM-7:30PM, currently M-F will be M-Sat when season begins.
