The Skilled Nurse Training Specialist will facilitate learning via classroom instruction and webinars; incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles in person and off site.


Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership within the classroom or virtual classroom environment
  • Assist in development of training curriculum, and work with team to ensure training consistency across sites and within training team
  • Assess the training needs using data analysis to identify trending for training and coaching opportunities
  • Prepare training related materials
  • Work on ad - hoc projects and events
  • Schedule classes
  • Mentor others
  • Act as a resource to others
  • Travel to locations nationally providing on-site training.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer at least 2 years prior experience in Skilled Nursing, require at least 2 years’ experience in Senior Living
  • Prefer RN or LPN, require college degree or will consider equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience coaching and training
  • Presentation and facilitation skills before groups, in a classroom setting and/or via webinars
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with e-learning software is an asset
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and able to adjust to frequent changes in training priorities and schedules to accommodate business needs
  • Ability to work well as a team player as well as work independently with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism.
  • Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast pace environment
  • Up to 50% travel required, must have flexibility to accommodate travel schedule
