Overview of Position:
Bookkeepers are responsible for handling a store’s basic accounting, record keeping, and clerical obligations. This includes assisting in payroll preparation and covering store telephones. Additionally, Bookkeepers regularly communicate with employees regarding issues such as payroll policies.

Physical Activity
Bookkeepers are responsible for handling a store’s basic accounting, record keeping, and clerical obligations. This includes assisting in payroll preparation and covering store telephones. Additionally, Bookkeepers regularly communicate with employees regarding issues such as payroll policies.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounting tasks such as collecting accounts receivable and counting money
- Assisting in payroll preparation and posting
- Daily register pulls to determine whether tills are over, under, or even
- Daily settlements with route employees that involve matching correct tickets
- Completing accounting forms and records as well as filing this data and/or entering it into a computer
- Clerical duties such as answering the telephone and using the office equipment
- Communicating payroll policies and company procedures to employees
- Answer telephone in a timely manner and utilize Krispy Kreme greeting procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Essential skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle money competently and responsibly
- Strong organizational skills
- Moderate computer knowledge and adding machine skills
- Pass a pre-employment criminal background check
- Cross train on other essential store functions
- Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred
