Position: CNC Machinist (Lathe or Mill)
I currently have 20 openings for CNC Machinists in the Lafayette area. I am looking for experienced individuals who are looking to grow their career in a high production environment. I would be interested in talking to anyone who has prior CNC Lathe or CNC Mill operating experience about this opportunity.
Position Summary:
CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing quality parts using Mills and Lathes. These parts are primarily used in the automotive industry, but they are involved in a variety of industries. They currently have a machine shop primarily uses Mazak brand CNC Machines. CNC Machinists will be expected to be able to set up their machines , check the quality of the parts being machined, and be able to meet daily production goals. All levels of skill will be considered as long as the candidate meets the qualifications of the position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement is an education on how to set up and operated a CNC Machine from an accredited program
- Experience will operating a CNC Lathe or CNC Mill is a requirement of this position
- CNC set up experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges is a requirement
- Candidates must be able to read a blueprint
Additional Information:
All shifts are available and a candidate with CNC Mill experience, CNC Lathe experience, or CNC Machining education will make a minimum of $20 an hour to start.
