Assistant Manager - Juice Bar - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary:       The Assistant Manager’s duties are similar to those of the manager in that the assistant manager is responsible for working with the manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the store. The assistant manager is expected to “back up” the manager and do whatever is necessary to aid the manager in achieving the goals of the store.

Employee Management:       

                         Aid GM in recruiting, training, and supervising new staff- hiring, firing, developing, conducting quarterly  evaluations

                           Direct staff in daily work assignments to maximize productivity

                           Conduct daily pre-shit meetings and assist in monthly staff meetings to ensure organizational efficiency

Facilities/CorporateResponsibilities:   

                          You will be ‘on the floor’ for most hours, acting as the head shift leader and top juicerista

                           Implement and maintain clean organization

                           Be capable of cultivating strong multi-tasking abilities

                           Display inventiveness in introducing new ideas that would increase business (sales or productivity)

                           Track material and supply inventory and place orders

                           Aid GM in scheduling, managing, and training 20+ employees

                           Maintain facility in order to receive 98%+ on health department inspections

                           Optimize profits by controlling your own and other employee food waste

                           Continually monitor Clean Juice and take appropriate action to ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met

                           Ensure facility and equipment are maintained to company standards

                           Maintain exceptional relationships with vendors

                           Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the juicing industry

                           Explore opportunities to add additional value to Clean Juice

                           Manage and schedule community events

                           Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance

                           Adhere to health and safety standards when handling food

Qualifications:       Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

                                Must be organized and efficient

                                Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
