Brief Description

Under the leadership and guidance of the Retail Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Lead Stylist is responsible for providing outstanding proactive customer service, establishing and developing strong customer relationships, building individual sales volume and growing our new customer base. Our Lead Stylists are vital to Three Bird Nest by offering our customers a distinctive branded shopping experience while driving personal and store sales results.  The ideal candidate is motivated, loves fashion, enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrives in a commissioned sales environment. They are professionals and strive for continuous improvement through hard work and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities 

• Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner

• Communicate effectively with customers to determine needs

• Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit

• Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible

• Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team

• Assist upper management and staff with driving store initiatives

• Build lasting relationships with current and prospective clients by contacting them to follow up on purchases and suggest new merchandise

• Consistently seek new women’s fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer

• Perform daily department maintenance tasks including open/ close procedures, stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns and cleaning

• Actively support securing company assets through effective Loss Prevention in compliance with company policies and procedures

• Protect the Three Bird Nest brand message and philosophies by maintaining a professional and personal appearance.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs that includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)

• A strong commitment to customer service

• Goal oriented with strong planning and organizational skills

• Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment

• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about women’s fashion

• Strong organizational and follow-through skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers

• Retail sales experience desired
