Job Description
Team Office, Kansas City's # 1 source for office furniture, service and workplace design is looking for a Business Development Manager. This position will be responsible for the development of new clients, accounts, projects and referral partners.
Job Functions:
- Call on new prospective customers and referral partners on a daily basis
- Leverage social media platforms to connect with new clients
- Schedule new appointments with prospective clients
- Build and grow a strong lead and referral network
- Use a variety of lead sources to identify new clients and opportunities
- Work with the Director of Sales to find new opportunities and promote the Team Office brand
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Related background or experience in design, furniture or office environments
- High level knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
- 5 + years experience in sales and/or marketing
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to develop new business
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Windows environment
