Job Description
Basic Purpose
The basic function of this position is to ensure the integrity of Oracle price lists and factor lists required to price customer quotes, sales orders and invoices accurately. This position requires a clear understanding of the distinct relationships between Retail and Distributor customers, customer programs, and product offerings & margins acceptable to the Company. This position must exercise independent reasoning when pricing new items and/or discounting job quotes. Quoting process can be somewhat complex since creation will depend on what is being quoted, e.g., volume, market/region, competitive situation, material cost trend, customer program cost, estimated freight costs, etc. Therefore, quoting is not considered a repetitive process but instead requires some analysis. Position will require ability to fill in for Senior Pricing Analyst when needed.

Functional Scope
Works under direct supervision and follows a variety of established guidelines. The Pricing Coordinator must evaluate possible courses of action that are aligned with the supervisor’s direction, which includes day to day pricing decisions that cannot be located in a manual or software package. This position is also responsible for maintaining price lists and factor lists for the Retail and Distribution divisions with annual sales of approximately $301,000,000 (2016).
Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain & update pricing structure for the Retail and Distribution divisions, including price lists and factor lists, while utilizing Oracle Advance Pricing components. These components include administration of new price additions and pricing discounts.
· Review competitive pricing discounts and/or any other customer discount requests.
· Completion of item work flow assignments.
Essential Functions of Position
· Job takes place in normal office setting with no known hazardous environmental or physical working conditions.
· Job entails negligible requirements for lifting, bending and standing.
· Normal office interactions require the incumbent to possess the mobility to meet with others in the office.
· Job is largely (75% plus) sedentary, requiring prolonged sitting, use of telephone, ability to communicate both verbally and in written format.
· Requires normal dexterity, strength, coordination, vision (including the ability to read a computer screen), and hearing inherent in office work.
· Requires the ability to work periods of extended hours driven by project deadlines.
· Position may require infrequent local travel for training purposes up to 5% of total time.
· Download, review and question daily open order and booking reports with the pricing department.
· Review all EDI exception reports, log data and communicate discrepancies to the customer care department.
· Download, format and distribute price lists as needed (generic, customer specific, sales history driven).
· Communicate all pricing issues to customer care, sales and pricing departments.
· Implement process improvements and/or pricing change strategies set out to drive incremental sales and or new business reviewed and approved by the supervisor.
· Assist the Sr. Pricing Analyst with projects as needed.
