Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team! The ROS is responsible for leading through Bodell's Footwear mission, vision, and integrity to develop and maintain a high performing team that delivers consistent sales growth. The ROS leads a team of sales associates and is accountable for all aspect of supervising the retail sales floor; including inventory-related processes, merchandising, both visual and pricing display footwear. The supervisor is responsible for performance of: sales, inventory and operations, people training and development, and professionalism. This position requires a passion for knowledge of product and foot ailments, drive for results, and the ability to quickly and efficiently lead through unforeseen circumstances

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a clean store
  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employee duties
  • Follow up work results
  • Maintain store staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing sales goals
  • Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintain customer service by establishing rapport regarding customer needs and wants
  • Help with Marketing strategy
  • Maintain professional attire and demeanor
  • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, personnel policies and procedures
  • Contribute to Team Effort by accomplishing sales results
  • Identify under-performing models and inefficient processes, and develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools, and resources to improves and grow the business

Duties/ Responsibility:

  • Must know quickbooks, word, excel, Microsoft office, inventory control - recieving
  • Have minimum 2 years retail/footwear experience
  • Servicing customers

Experience

  • Proficient wuth basic technology: POS, Microsoft office programs, and apple devices
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to react under pressure, use sound judgement in difficult situations and be flexible/adaptable

​ROS Requirements

  • Work a flexible, fulltime schedule including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions

  • Continuous mobility throughout the store daily
  • Lift/ Move up to 50 lbs. daily
  • Stoop, kneel, and crouch daily
  • Climb ladder and maintain balance daily
