Job Description
Position Overview
The Commercial Solar Project Manager is a critical role supporting the commercial team within our growing and evolving business model at All Energy Solar. The ideal candidate will demonstrate prior success managing multiple types and sizes of commercial and industrial-scale construction projects from start-to-finish and possesses an understanding of electrical service work. He or she is a proven leader with a history of managing through all project milestones - from initial contract review through construction completion - and can draw from past experience to confidently oversee project timelines, stakeholder schedules, manpower tracking and claim processing with an attention to detail.
This individual must exhibit outstanding communication skills both in written form and verbally, and must be confident in his or her ability to interact directly with our customers as well as internal All Energy Solar staff from our sales, accounting and operations departments. Responsibilities also include project status reporting and documentation submissions, keeping pace with our standardized commercial project timeline - on multiple projects simultaneously - and ‘owning’ the customer relationship and dialogue after projects are contracted.
The Commercial Solar Project Manager, via prior on-site experience, can demonstrate a history of efficiently balancing the needs of a variety of stakeholders for each project. This can include property owners, utility personnel, local permitting officials, site engineers, on-site construction personnel, a variety of tradesmen and women, and other All Energy Solar team members. The ideal candidate has an innate understanding of how to keep a job from "going bad," doesn't make excuses, pass the buck or simply hopes things will work out. They take ownership of their projects and corresponding responsibilities, control the pace of activities along each commercial project timeline, and establish rapport with our clients to maintain the proper credibility of our company through project completion.
