Food Manufacturing Shift Supervisor

Mariani Packing Company is expanding in 2017 and we’re looking for an energetic and dedicated individual to fill a newly created shift supervisor position. The supervisor will join our existing shift supervisory group and provide leadership in a 24/7 operating environment.

Mariani is the largest independent dried fruit processor and packer in the United States with a growing operation in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. We are located on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids, just off Hwy 54 and only 15 minutes from Plover. The workforce has doubled at the plant in the past 5 years and this is a great opportunity for a person with food manufacturing or food packaging experience to join the company! This position may work nights and will report to the onsite Production Manager.

Responsibilities

Work hand-in-hand with other supervisors to ensure a seamless operating environment between shifts.

Provides leadership to all team members while meeting or exceeding established goals.

Employee performance and corrective action through positive reinforcement.

Promotes and implements continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Understand process and plant organization to proactively approach challenges, issues and opportunities.

Lead and develop multiple projects.

Requirements

An attention to detail with excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft programs and software.

Mechanical / Electrical trouble shooting fundamentals.

The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet internal and external deadlines.

The ability to adapt to consistently changing and evolving business needs.

Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.

High integrity with a can-do attitude.
