SOS has immediate openings for Loss Prevention (Unarmed) Security Officers in Austin/San Marcos

Loss Prevention Secuirty Officers are front and center to represent the best of the best to our clients! Officers are held to a higher standard, and represent a level of excellence. Officer's will be trained at multiple sites in Austin and San Marcos and relied upon to cover shifts when needed. Flexibility is the key element, needs could arise morning, noon, or night! Loss Prevention Officers are the eyes and ears of our client sites to safeguard people, property, and assets. The skills needed are critical thinking, observation, impeccable communication both oral and written, attention to detail, and overall professional security presence to detect and deter loss or damage of client property. If you have the experience and can demonstrate pride, determination, and professionalism, being a Loss Prevention Officer is for you!

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid TX Security License Required

Valid CPR and AED certivfication

Qualifications:

Should be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law

Required to be authorized to work in the United States

A valid driver’s license with clean driving history required, (only for jobs with car)

Must have a minimum of three years Loss Prevention experience

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be able to pass a drug screening

Valid CPR, AED training certificate

With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
