Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Digital Innovation and eCommerce will develop and lead strategic initiatives to re-position Compass Health Brands as a “digital first company.” This role will require working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital footprint, from opportunity identification to user experience for Compass Health Brands including, but not limited to, mobile applications, external websites, ecommerce, social media, and other digital online experiences.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction, operational oversight and performance accountability across the entire portfolio of Compass Health Brands and initiatives, including: ecommerce, websites, mobile platforms/applications, social media platforms, and other digital platforms.

Build and direct a cohesive digital department, including development of overriding goals, ongoing coaching, management and leadership of talent to ensure departmental success and delivery of objectives.

Oversee the processes, relationships, and tools that result in the successful execution of the digital vision, ensuring that products and programs are optimized against broader Compass Health initiatives.

Collaborate with Executive leadership, Product Management, Marketing and IT teams to define functional and nonfunctional requirements to enhance the digital customer experience across all key customer touch points.

Support internal business partners in identifying, developing, and executing digital (web, mobile, and other platforms programs and prioritization of initiatives for greatest strategic impact. Work with internal and external resources to improve YOY performance and overall e-commerce revenue growth objectives.

Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability.

Implement processes that facilitate communications across the organization, including: operations, forecasting, and buying teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels.

Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals are factored into eCommerce/digital projects and strategic initiatives.

Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the organization to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test digital initiatives.

Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross functional partners.

Establish and instill best practices for all Compass Health Brands eCommerce products including end-user voice/feedback, key performance tracking, business partner procedures, and technical partnership processes.

Ensure digital brand/creative standards and campaigns are fully integrated and synced with other Sales and Marketing channels and departments.

Lead the discovery and design of the next generation of Compass Health Brands websites and digital touch points.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership ability, motivational skills and enthusiasm

  • Established expertise in developing an innovative digital marketing strategy and technology roadmap to promote an organization, build brand awareness/preference/demand, and achieve corporate strategic goals while providing a best-in-class virtual experience

  • In-depth understanding of how to optimize and integrate web, mobile, social, video, and search mediums to provide the most effective customer experience and information gathering

  • Recognized as a visionary leader with a competitive mindset to enter and win in the marketplace and a proven track record of creating value (internally and externally) while transforming a corporation’s digital presence

  • Proven experience in digital media analytics, program management, relationship management, financial planning and budgeting to develop integrated marketing strategies and to make informed business decisions

  • Strong analytic skills to determine organizational needs and the ability to develop effective strategic digital marketing and communication plans that achieve the functional objectives for the enterprise

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent and proven critical thinking skills to quickly evaluate issues, troubleshoot, and prioritize accordingly

  • Proven ability to drive for results and lead continuous improvement efforts

  • Proven success in managing the online identities of multiple brands with a complete understanding of the differences in demographics among each brand.

  • Demonstrated experience in both B2B and B2C

  • Experience in online marketplace management, PPC campaign construction and strategy across multiple platforms including but not limited to Google Adwords, and retailer-partnered online campaign strategy.

  • Experience in social media advertising strategy and execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor’s degree required, preference for Computer Information Systems, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Computer Science or related.  Master’s degree preferred.  Ten (10) to fifteen (15) plus years’ job- related experience developing and implementing projects/programs with Digital expertise; digital marketing; website development; mobile application development and user experience innovation.
