Roer's Zoofari is Northern Virginia's oldest zoological facility; previously Reston Zoo. We are a family oriented attractions and offer opportunities for our guests to explore, discover and connect with wildlife.
One of our main attractions is our safari - which guests experience on an open air bus. The Safari Drivers are trained to give interpretive information about the animals that live in the safari. These animals include llama, fallow deer, sika deer, watusi cattle, zebra, emu, rhea, burro, water buffalo and bison. Not an animal expert? Don't worry - we will train you. All you need is a fun loving personality, the ability to speak to people and expert driving skills.
