GRIGGS STORE MANAGER

As a Griggs store manager, you will manage the daily operations of the store. This includes managing sales, expenses, profits, and assets of the store while ensuring all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand. In addition, you will also be responsible for associate development, merchandising, inventory control, safety, human resources and loss prevention in order to promote sales and meet profit goals.

Meet / exceed sales goals, maximize profit whilst minimizing costs. Ensure inventory and promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards, staff is fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met. Recruitment, Training and Development. Maintain firearms records per company. local, state & federal standards. Ensure all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand.

Skills / Qualifications:
* Proactive, motivated, self starter 
* 5+ years of progressive retail management experience. More extensive retail experience will be welcomed, especially in the outdoor sports that matches or merchandise mix. 
* Strong Softlines experience and knowledge
* Proficient in the use of computers, including: MS Office products (Word, Excel,), POS and Inventory Systems.
* Strong customer service focus with proficient written and verbal English abilities (Spanish Bilingual a plus) The ability to provide "a breed apart" level of customer service. 
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and follow through skills.
* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
* Employee hiring and training.
* Market knowledge.
* Results Driven.
* An upbeat demeanor, with a sales-oriented personality. 
* The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job at hand done.
* Must pass a federal and local background check for firearms sales.
