**1ST AND 2ND SHIFT PRODUCTION WORKER NEEDED!!**

Contractors will work alongside seasoned employees in the Production Worker II position. Once introduced to the operations in the factory, will typically move into a packaging position. Production Worker I employees will also perform labeling and other miscellaneous duties. Must be able to lift and carry containers weighing 50 pounds, lift and occasionally carry containers weighing up to 140 pounds, and tilt and move drums weighing up to 650 pounds with the use of a drum cart. The employee may be moved to a position of mixing less complex products, and from that point may move into the Production Worker II position.

Assumes responsibility for the correct and timely completion of production functions through the operation of specialized machines.

a. Operates production machinery to complete assigned tasks. Sets up machines with data provided by the Company.

b. Understands the basic principles of production operations.

c. Sets up production machinery and equipment.

d. Inspects parts visually and uses measuring tools to ensure compliance to specifications. Documents results as required.

e. Performs re-inspections and re-work as requested.

f. Maintains machinery including cleaning of work areas. Informs management of any significant problems with machinery.

2. Assumes responsibility for completing production functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

a. Follows established production procedures and instructions.

b. Meets quality and safety standards.

c. Meets deadlines.

d. Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and with management.

a. Assists and supports production personnel as needed.

b. Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. Identifies problems and provides suggestions.

c. Attends meetings as required.

4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

a. Completes special projects as assigned.

b. Completes reports and documents accurately and timely as required.
