About this job

This position is responsible for all outsourced third party repair orders on a daily basis and will schedule all outsourced third party maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Prioritizes outsourced maintenance work and work order process on a daily basis in consultation with Hub Maintenance Planners, Operations and Maintenance Supervisors.
• Manages maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide planned maintenance in the future.
• Prepares reports, analyzes data and makes recommendations for maintenance efficiency improvements.
• Manages all third party repairs for assigned regions of responsibility.
• Reviews all quotes and identifies areas where repair cost can be reduced or eliminated.
• Identifies rework scenarios where repairs should be denied and or be covered under warranty.
• Identifies repairs that should be covered under OEM or aftermarket parts suppliers warranty.
• Coordinates with third party vendors to collect quotes, invoices and preventative maintenance forms.
• Creates purchase orders for all third party repairs.
• Updates asset management system with asset attributes if necessary, such as engine make, model, and other classifications.

Requirements

Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1+ years of transportation coordination experience required
* Ability to create actionable items out of data and information required.
* Strategic planning experience, coupled with tactical execution a must.
* Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project.
