Providence is calling a Toddler Teacher to Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, Oregon. This is a full-time, benefited position.

In this position, you will:

* Provide leadership and work as a team member to provide a safe and secure environment to enhance a child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development as part of our Child Development Center.

* Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence mission and philosophy.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* High school degree or equivalent

* 2 years of college level training with credentials in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, CDA

* 1 year of qualifying work experience in a related field (comparable setting/age groups) will be accepted in lieu of the training

* Currently enrolled in Central Background Check through the Office of Child Care before date of hire

* No convictions related to child abuse, offenses against persons, sexual offenses, child neglect, felony offenses involving controlled substances, or any other offenses bearing substantial relation to the qualifications, functions of duties of an employee of a child care facility

* In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 4 years of direct childcare/teaching experience with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old Bilingual in Spanish
