Production Operator & Warehouse

MUST HAVE:

-High School Diploma or GED*

-Former physically demanding labor work experience, ability to stand on feet for at least 12 hours per day and lift at least 35 pounds

-Experience in a role requiring high attention to detail, sense of urgency and hustle with positive attitude and willingness to learn

-Work history and ability to explain commitment and dedication in former jobs

-Hand tools or measurement tools experience

-Ability to work any shift, any hour of the day, any day of the week

SHIFTS:

-Rotating shift every two weeks - always 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am (two weeks on days / two weeks on nights)

-Shift offers good quality of life, allowing for a minimum of two days off per week

-Every 6 weeks, you get 5 days off in a row

-Must be open to working any hour of the day, any day of the week due to rotating nature of schedule

-Must be open to mandatory overtime when necessary

JOB DUTIES:

Warehouse Role (Coil Field)
could include but not limited to the following:
--Use hand tools to strip large metal coils, inspect coils for initial quality, use tape measure and micrometer to measure steel
--Receive and tag coil product into RF scan gun, sort scrap from packaging into bins
--Operate overhead crane to unload truck and rail
--Could include forklift operation to safely and accurately stack pallets
--Lifting and stacking of heavy pins to complete pallets

Production Operator:
--Operate uncoiler, visually inspect material to ensure free of debris
--Load coiler with crane
--Perform heavy lifting of metal pins (two at once) weighing 20 pounds each, possibly repeating up to 1,000 times per day (50-80% of day) while working line BL3
--Closely monitor machine and product to visually detect any defects and measure defect from edge of material
--Communicate with lead or supervisor if necessary for issues or defects (stop, call, wait protocol)
